“ Passing thru and wanted to try a local Italian place. It was a marvelous ambiance, beautiful, interior, old house converted to a restaurant. The floor was tilted a bit and that actually added to the enjoyment of being there. Thinking about how the cold caused the movement, just somehow added to the enjoyment of the moment. The main dish was pretty good but the salad left a but to be desired. A nice mix of greens, but 2 olives, which I didn't want, and a single grape tomato, cut in half. Stylish perhaps, but seemed a bit stingy. But that could just be me. As for the aforementioned main dish, I had Fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken and broccoli to it. The chicken was good, tasty Nd tender, and while the broccoli had just the right amount of crunch, it had some darkened edges at the roots showing it'd been there a while. Not bad, mind you, but it didn't "look" great. Other than that, the presentation was great, service was provided by a very nice (and cute) young lady who was gracious, kind, and kept the refills coming and always had a ready smile. All in all, I recommend the place, tho I likely may not be back here, not because I wouldn't want to, but I'll probably not be back to AK anytime soon, unfortunately. ”
“ I can't believe this place doesn't have better reviews than it does. Probably a bunch of haters & whiners ! We ate here last night and it was incredible. The service was great ! The vibe was relaxing and classy. We started with the garlic bread appetizer ! Salads and also the meatballs! Let me tell ya what !! The meatballs were some of the best I've had in the country ! And took over 100 flights last year to all over the world. My main course was asiago crusted cod and risotto !! Phenomenal ! I tried my friends cheese ravioli in the vodka cream sauce and it was really good also. When I come back to Fairbanks - this will be the main restaurant that I will make sure and go to. 5 STARS!! go here - live a little ”
